It only takes one call to our friendly office staff (519-966-5565). We will send one of our professional consultants to your home and everything will be taken care of in the one visit. We will take high quality photos and discuss your home with you so we can write a detailed description. It will be posted on our website within 24 hours of your visit; or click on to our website www.privateexchange.com were you can fill out a contract form, and a representative from our office will get back to you within 24 hours to arrange the home visit.

When is the payment due?

The payment is due at the time of the home visit. The consultant will collect the payment at the end of your appointment. (Visa, MasterCard, Cheque or Cash).

What commission do you charge?

“Our Mission is 0% Commission” We get absolutely No Commission when you sell your home. Our packages are a one time, up front fee for our marketing services.

Who writes the property description and takes the photos?

A Private Exchange professional may come to your home and take high quality photos and develop an enticing description of your home depending on the package your select

What do I do if someone wants to make an offer?

With the Private Exchange marketing system the offer process is made easy. With some of our marketing packages we include informative buyers’ guides that have all the legal forms needed to make an offer. Easy to use online printable Offer To Purchase Forms are also available for potential buyers.

Are you affiliated with MLS®?

No. We are a private company although we can show you how to get on the MLS®.

Do you install the signage and is there a charge?

Yes, our consultant will bring the sign to you at the time of your home visit. They will install the For Sale sign on your front lawn at the end of the visit. If you are a self serve customer it will be shipped to you. To ensure we get the signs back we do have a refundable sign deposit returned to you upon the sale of your home.

What if I want off your system, is there a penalty?

No, there is no penalty. Just return the frames (if applicable) and signs so your deposit can be refunded to you.

What if I want to list with The Private Exchange, but am presently listed with a Realtor?

You will have to wait until your contract runs out with your agent. We are strictly private and do not list on MLS®. You cannot be listed with The Private Exchange and a realtor at the same time.

When do I need a Lawyer?

You will need a Lawyer at the time of closing, although we do suggest you consult with a Lawyer to look over the forms before you sign The Offer to Purchase Documents.

Do you provide any advice or assistance during the process?

Our knowledgeable office staff is available Monday through Friday to assist you and direct you to professionals who will help you during the selling process. (Mortgage brokers, real estate lawyers) As well our professional consultants are trained to outline what to expect during the selling process.

Do you provide Mortgages or financing?

Not at present, but we may in the future, instead please see one of the advertisers on our site.

How long does it take to get listed?

Once you decide to use our services and call the office or sign up on line you will be contacted by one of our office staff, we will book an appointment for our consultant to meet with you. The consultant will have your home on the website within 24 hours of your home visit.
